Instinct tells me it is probably more to do with the drivers for your TV card. Have you tried using it with any other program since you upgraded eg. dvbscan?

Did you compile your own drivers and now need to recompile?

If it works and is definitely a getstream problem do you get any error mesages? Perhaps post your config.
