What about DVB-S2?

Hello Florian! At the "DVB Streaming" home page there are some words about DVB-S2 that I don't understand: "S2 only via multiproto API". Explain please, if I have a DVB-S2 card and could tune to a DVB-S2 (QPSK, 8PSK) transponder, what should I add to the system? Now I running S2API by Liplianin.
