Dear Peter,

1: We have Televes 17x17x16 Ref. 7345 multiswitch. (you could find its specifications in http://www0.televes.com/inting/producto/catalogos/Multiswitches_Multimat2.pdf page 5).

2: I could not find any A/B mode on this switch. It has just 17 input (1 terrestrial, 16 for 4 satellites), 16 outputs for receivers and 17 cascade outputs.

3: The strange thing is that my computer works with some multiswitches, and does not work with some others, and I could not find why.

4: I tested with multiswitches from Hirschmann and Finetronics, but both does not work. But it seems some old multiswitches from Triax works very well.

5: You are right. when I use diseqc 0 the diseqc is disabled, but its fine because hotbird is in my input A (or zero) so when I use this multiswitch give position A by default.

6: I've attached my config file.

7: As I said before, progDVB in windows and satellite receivers both work fine with this multiswitch. Even linux scan commands works well, but getstream does not work correctly.

I suspect you are right about multiswitch setting, but I could not find anything to adjust. Any suggestions?
Also any suggestion about my config file? Any thing I could add to do diseqc manually works with this multiswitch?

what type of multiswitch do you use and what is your config file? How many Satellites does your antenna receive? Also many multiswitch allow to configure each individual input to have another satellite as default. When you say V/Hi and H/Lo is working I suspect that your Multiswitch is set to A/B mode only (burst). It should be set to real diseqc. I run a multiswitch as well (Hotbird/Astra) with 8 outputs and have absolutely no problems. 

Note that you have to select diseqc 1 for the first and diseqc 2 for the second satellite a.s.o. diseqc 0 does not work! (fe.c uses fe.dvbs.t_diseqc-1) and you still need to specify voltage and polarisation (reading your mail you did that).

We moved to a satellite multiswitch for reception. When I scan with option for diseq, everything is OK. But in getstream I Should reverse diseq number to work, and :

1: Everything in port 0 of multiswitch, when diseqc option of config is 0 is works perfectly. (when actually multiswitch is bypassed).
2: Everything in other ports (1-3) works for frequencies in Vertical/High (over 11.7 Ghz, vertical) and Horizontal/Low (under 11.7 GHz, Horizontal) works, and others does not work.
3: When I connect Vertical/Low of LNC to Horizental/High of multiswitch  those frequencies start to work in getstream, but I could not scan them anymore.
4: All frequencies work perfectly with satellite receivers and ProgDVB in windows.

I concluded that problem is in getstream, but I could not trace its root. Any suggestion?
