Getstream not streaming scrambled channels
Hi there, I use sasc-ng (and dvbloopback) on my computer. I can watch the scrambled channels on Kaffeine and unicast/multicast them using MuMuDVB. Yet when I try to stream the same transponders with Getstream, It seems that the streaming packets aren't descrambled. Also when I set the full pids (instead of a specific pnr) only the FTA channels can be received. The following is my configuration file: http { port 8001; }; adapter 1 { dvb-s { lnb { lof1 9750000; lof2 10600000; slof 11700000; }; transponder { frequency 10949000; polarisation v; symbol-rate 27500000; }; }; stream { name "CH"; input { pnr 7466; }; output-http { url "/ch"; }; }; }; nima@nima-pc:~$ ./getstream -dc ch.conf 2011-03-05 16:29:54.733 fe: Adapter 1 Setting up frontend tuner 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S tone = 1 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S voltage = 0 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S diseqc = 0 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S freq = 10949000 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S lof1 = 9750000 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S lof2 = 10600000 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S slof = 11700000 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S feparams.frequency = 1199000 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S feparams.inversion = 2 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 fe: DVB-S feparams.u.qpsk.symbol_rate = 27500000 2011-03-05 16:29:54.749 dmx: Setting filter for pid 8192 pestype 20 2011-03-05 16:29:54.782 fe: Adapter 1 Status: 0x01 (HAS_SIGNAL) 2011-03-05 16:29:54.883 fe: Adapter 1 Status: 0x1f (HAS_SIGNAL HAS_CARRIER HAS_VITERBI HAS_SYNC HAS_LOCK) *-- Nima Mohammadi*

Well, It doesn't have to support CAM. Sasc-ng takes care of that part and prepares a virtual DVB adapter whose scrambled channels are being exposed as FTA ones. Even when I use the combination of sasc-ng and MuMuDVB, I don't set the cam_support directive in the configuration files. On the other hand, I've seen that people, on this exact mailing list, have used both Getstream and sasc-ng: http://gt.owl.de/pipermail/getstream/2010-May/000150.html http://gt.owl.de/pipermail/getstream/2009-January/000008.html Not sure, but I myself suspect that the pid filter is set to 8192 (streaming the full TS). *-- Nima Mohammadi* 2011/3/10 Jakub Paweł Głazik <zytek-lists@nuxi.pl>
