## Comment Updated 4 minutes ago by [flohoff](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/flohoff) River says >3m with this comment. The point here is that its irrelevant isnt it? The riverbanks are mapped individually so there is no real point. Additionally going upstream there is always a point when a river becomes a stream. So where is that? "For the sake of reference, the current world record is 8.95 meters, and the standing jump world record is 3.73 meters; the suggested value should be somewhere below 3 meters across, which is supported by some data as well." ## Full note Created over 2 years ago by [sbre](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/sbre) Why is Else classified as a stream in the section through this town? Doesn't look like just a stream on aerial imagery Updated 28 minutes ago by [chris66](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/chris66) Hi, ELSE is a river, no stream. Updated 8 minutes ago by [flohoff](https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/flohoff) What is the exact width when a stream gets a river? Couldnt find one.
