Hi,

There are a server where getstream is running and a client computer
where some client software is displaying a TV channel.

The system was made according to Ivan Murashko's advice:

getstream at gt.owl.de

Within some minutes (from 1 till 30) from the start the displaying
process is interrupted. In other words the movie becomes a still
picture. But getsream continue multicasting, udp-packets continue filling the net.

If you try to disconnect from the stream (push button "Stop") and then connect to it (push button "Start") the
movie will continue.

It would be very useful to automate such process. But how one could
understand that an udp-stream is interrupted without looking at the
screen? Is there any detector(s) in the operation system?
